Upcoming Divorce Recovery Groups
(Children, Adolescents and Adults)
A 6-week divorce recovery group will be held for children (ages 7-11) and for adolescents (ages 12-16) whose parents are separated, currently going through a divorce or who are divorced. The child and adolescent groups will focus on coping skills and strategies to help them through this challenging time.
The adult group will provide a 4-week supportive educational class for individuals (with or without children) who are coping with marriage or relationship break-up. The adult class will meet at the same time and same building but in a different office as the child and adolescent groups, however, adults without children are invited to join the class as well.
Child and Adolescent Groups:
Dates: September 6, 13, 20, 27 and October 4 & 11, 2008
Time: Ages 7 to 11: 9:00am- 10:00am / Ages 12 to 16: 11:00am- 12:00pm
Cost: $25.00 per participant per session

Going through the recovery period of divorce might be tough for some kids and adults alike, but sometimes they just go on with their lives like nothing happened and without noticeable problems. In my case, it wasn't such a problem and I was totally happy that I filed for separation with the help of the divorce lawyers (Jacksonville-based office) due to the physical stress inflicted to me by my ex-husband.
ReplyDeleteGuiding my kids through adulthood without their father is a pretty tough job, but thanks to the divorce lawyers in Jacksonville, FL, the financial part of upbringing is already settled.
